This course alternates :
Language learning and methodology course : an average of two language classes a day with two different teachers.
Topical course in French : « Living in France », « Becoming acquainted with the Anjou wine region ».
Cultural visits (Angers and its surrounding area).
Technical visits (visits to cellars, greenhouses…).
Personal applied work : oral presentation / written work.
This session awards 4 ECTS credits (*). Credits are awarded on the basis of regular attendance, participation in class and assessment of the assigned work.

Further training : weekly French classes
Students wishing for further training are offered weekly French classes to enhance their language skills :
1st period : end of September/beginning of December = 15 to 20 hours / 2 ECTS credits (*)
2nd period : end of January /beginning of April = 24 hours / 2 ECTS credits (*). Credits are awarded on the basis of regular attendance and final assessment marks.
At the end of each period, students may take the TFI test (Test of International French), ESA being one of the examination centres : The TFI score test (equivalent to TOEIC or TOEFL tests of English) aims to assess written and oral comprehension skills. Students will be awarded an official certificate. Three preparation classes of 1h45 each are taught at the ESA Group before the test takes place.
